Booking window cheat sheet
Lightning Lane and Single Pass both open at 7:00 AM ET on your eligibility day — 7 days before first park day for Disney resort guests, 3 days before for off-property. Each crew card has a 🏨 Disney Resort / 🏢 Off-Property / ⇆ Show bothtoggle — confirm where each crew is staying or leave on “Show both” for multi-party trips.
Dates auto-derive from each crew's hotel stays on the Family tab — edit a check-in date there and these windows shift accordingly.

Lightning Lane Multi Pass
- ▸Up to 3 LLs pre-booked: 1 T1 + 2 T2
- ▸AK = no tiers; pick any 3
- ▸After you scan your first LL, tier rule drops + you can book replacements
- ▸Same-day swaps allowed
Lightning Lane Single Pass
- ▸Pre-purchase up to 2 per day (separate from Multi Pass)
- ▸One-and-done per ride per day
- ▸5 attractions across all four parks
- ▸Sells out earliest — book first at 7 AM ET
Lightning Lane Premier Pass
- ▸Unlimited LL access for ONE day, ONE park
- ▸Per-person, per-day pricing
- ▸Generally only worth it if you're hitting one park hard
- ▸Limited daily inventory — pre-purchase
Single Pass roster — the 5 must-buys
McMs target all 5 across the week. CHEER (3 days) gets Rise + FOP. Iovieros (8 days) hits all 5.
Single Pass + Multi Pass require a park ticket first. Undercover Tourist sells WDW tickets at 5–10% below gate price.
Per-kid eligibility
Auto-derived from heights you've entered on the Family tab. Don't skip TRON or FOP for a kid who can ride — and don't book a Single Pass for one who can't (use Rider Switch instead).
Add each child's height on the Family tab and this section auto-fills with green/red chips per kid per Single Pass — so you know at a glance who can ride TRON (48"), FOP (44"), and Cosmic Rewind (42") before you spend the SP budget.

The 7 AM morning playbook
- 16:50 AM ET: Open My Disney Experience on your phone. Phone on charger, hotspot or wifi confirmed.
- 26:55 AM ET: Tap Lightning Lane Passes from the menu. Make sure every party member is selected.
- 37:00 AM ET sharp: Pre-purchase Single Passselections first — these sell out within minutes. SDMT & TRON (MK), Cosmic (EPCOT), Rise (HS), FOP (AK).
- 4Then book Multi Pass for Day 1: 1 Tier 1 + 2 Tier 2. The system will then walk you through each subsequent park day.
- 5In-park: after scanning your first LL, immediately book a replacement (the tier rule drops; you can keep stacking).
- 6Re-check 7 AM the next morning for any same-day drops that opened up overnight.

Booking-morning wisdom
SDMT + TRON pricing differs. TRON ($19–$23) sells out before SDMT ($11–$15). If budget-conscious, grab SDMT first; TRON inventory recovers throughout the day.
Rider Switch for tall rides.TRON (48"), FOP (44"), Cosmic Rewind (42") — one parent rides, hands off, no second wait. Free with any park ticket.
AK is unique.No tiers, just pick any 3 from the Multi Pass list. Pair Na'vi River + Kilimanjaro + Festival of the Lion King for a strong day.
Premier Pass usually not worth it for hopping days.If you're hopping between parks, regular MP + SP combo gives you more flexibility for half the cost.
After your first scan, the rules relax.You're no longer constrained to 1 T1 + 2 T2 — you can book any available LL.
Don't hoard. If a LL window is approaching expiry, modify it sooner rather than later — popular slots get snapped up.
