Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 19, 2026

In short — what this means for you

This page contains affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase or booking, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the merchant.

Commissions help keep the planner free, ad-light, and independently maintained.

How we choose what to link to

We only link to products and services we'd recommend regardless of commission. If something on the planner has an affiliate link next to it, we've either used it ourselves, verified it's widely well-reviewed, or it's the most cost-effective option in its category.

We will not recommend a product purely because it pays a higher commission. If we believe two products are equivalent but one pays a higher commission, we will say so up front.

How affiliate links work

Affiliate links use special URLs that tell the merchant we referred you. They look just like normal links to you, but technically have rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"attributes — these tell search engines that the link is paid, so we're not gaming SEO with them.

We also append UTM parameters (e.g. utm_source=disney-planner) so we can see which pages drive the most useful clicks. The merchant sees these parameters; they don't identify you personally.

Active affiliate programs

  • Amazon Associates — Packing items (cooling towels, ponchos, MagicBand+ accessories, autograph books, princess outfits, etc.). As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
  • Undercover Tourist — Discounted Walt Disney World® tickets.
  • Get Away Today — Disney vacation packages (ticket + hotel bundles).
  • Booking.com Partner Program — Off-property hotels for guests not staying at a Disney resort.

We add new programs from time to time. This list is the source of truth — if it's not listed here, we're not earning a commission from it.

What we don't do

  • We don't add affiliate links to your itinerary, family member info, or other personal-planning fields. Those pages stay clean.
  • We don't hide that something is an affiliate link.
  • We don't share your click data with anyone other than the merchant you're visiting.

FTC compliance

Per the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR §255), bloggers and content sites are required to disclose “material connections” with brands whose products they recommend. This page is our blanket disclosure; every page with affiliate links also carries an inline notice.
